From mid-October through end-November 2025, I was mostly focused on doing the final fabrication of the horizontal stabilizer, vertical stabilizer, rudder, and elevators. Various fairings had to be fitted and installed to each of them, along with ensuring there is proper clearance between them.
The Vertical Stabilizer was the first piece I constructed in April of 2018. Even thought it was structurally sound, there were aesthetic defects from my early, more clumsy techniques. As my riveting vastly improved, it was hard to go back and look at that original part. So I ended up rebuilding that in the Spring of 2025 and using version 2.0 for these steps.

There are cameos from Kathleen and then Anna who were helping me fit elevators to the horizontal stabilizer.
We also added a new member to the family in October. Her name is Rue (from Book 2 of the Hunger Games) and she’s a sweet girl from Louisiana. This was her first time hanging in the workshop and she was pretty good with it all.
