For most of the summer of 2025 into September, I spent a lot of time working on the fiberglass fairings that cover the landing gear. It’s exacting work as they have to be perfectly lined up to the wheels while also getting drilled perfectly into brackets that will hold them. I did get to use a laser to ensure the nose fairing is perfectly centered to the fuselage.
I also worked on the fiberglass wingtips that will be attached to the wings. Each of them have a strobe light and position lights – red on the left wingtip and green on the right wingtip.
